We will continue to pursue research and development in partnership with various stakeholders, with a view to achieving a sustainable society.

Research Strategy

To date, we have developed various chemicals for a broad array of industries. The foundation of these chemicals is our unique core technologies, such as the technologies for functional powder development, surface treatment, separation and refining, and synthesis of metallic soap. By fusing these core technologies, we create chemicals that meet various needs, and that in turn allows us to innovate new core technologies.

Our Approach

Our R&D Center is involved in research and development for use in a broad array of industry sectors. From development of new unique products that incorporate cutting-edge technology, to highly granular customization that meet the specific user needs, we take on a wide range of challenges. With its eyes set on the future, Our R&D Center is also exploring various possibilities through open innovation with external research organizations.
