Jiro and Saburo Yanagisawa, founders of the Company, established Yanagisawa Organic Chemical Industry in current Shinden, Adachi-ku, Tokyo.

Acquired Towa Kagaku Industry Co., Ltd. and changed the company name to Nihon Kagaku Sangyo Co., Ltd.
April 1948
Merged Yanagisawa Organic Chemical Industry into Nihon Kagaku Sangyo Co., Ltd.to unify manufacturing and sales.

Established a branch office in Osaka to develop sales channels in western Japan.

Obtained ISO 9002 certification for all items, at all plants that produce chemicals.

Established NEXAS ELECHEMIC Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Company, in Thailand.
