Introduction to the Chemicals Division

In circumstances surrounding us, there are an indefinitely large number of chemical substances.
However, these are essentially composed of 90 kinds of naturally occurring elements.
The chemical industry has created almost indefinitely large number of chemical substances.
The development of chemical industry has advanced one to two steps ahead all other industries that use chemical substance as raw materials, and has developed even the whole industry.
Nikkasan, which includes the chemical division, addresses all needs from petrochemistry, paint, and ink to the leading-edge industries including electronics and secondary cells by making full use of accumulated know-how flexibly.

Electronics

Nikkasan's metal compounds are the raw materials for capacitors, thermistors, varistors and other components used in electronic products. Metallic compounds used include bismuth oxide, tin oxide and zirconium oxide while metallic salts used include cobalt nickel, manganese and tin.

Plating

Nikkasan has long served the plating industry with high-quality materials for industries such as automobiles, precision machinery, light electrical appliances, office equipment and DVDs.
In addition to nickel sulfamate, nickel oxide and sodium stannate and stannous sulfate, we supply a variety of brighteners and additives including Nickel Boomer, a non-electrolytic plating bath, FLICKER, a seed layer remover for flexible printed circuit boards, and a chromium etchant. In electrolytic plating baths, we supply Nickel Boomer MP-LL for use in copperless plating.

Petrochemicals

Nikkasan's catalysts are used in chemical reactions in the petrochemical industry.
Nikkasan supplies synthetic catalysts and synthetic resin curing catalysts, as well as their raw materials such as cobalt acetate, cupric chloride, nickel nitrate, cobalt nitrate, antimony pentachloride and cobalt naphthenate.

Paint / Printing Ink

Nikkasan sells metals such as cobalt naphthenate, cobalt octoate, manganese and zirconium for use in paints for automobiles and boats and as drying agents for printing ink. In addition, we offer an environmentally friendly eco-dryer for use in printing ink.

Construction Industry

Applications include layered glass sealing agents and metal plating treatment agents.
Nikkasan's products include Thio Brown for use in sealing agents, nickel sulfate and stannous sulfate for electrolytic coloring of aluminum, and Almite Sealer used in sealing agents.

Ceramics / Glass

Nikkasan offers an extensive lineup of organic metal compounds for use in glazing agents for ceramics and glass.
Other chemicals include bismuth oxide and tin oxide used in optical glass components and glass flux.
